The Interface series takes glass as its point of departure: a material that gathers traces, shapes, images, and color through processes of melting, forming, breaking, and reforming.

Each work layers glass sheets with screenprinted forms, images, and ghostly imprints of metal construction materials. The traces of screws, grids, plastic fencing, wires are imprinted in the glass through a process of melting. Alongside these traces appear images of sunsets, of glitchy 3D renderings, shapes of iPhone screens, and hidden screenshots.

Through mixing a variety of references within the material, glass becomes a unifier between material and immaterial realities, giving form to the invisible networks and infrastructures that structure daily life. Mounted on aluminum frames, the works explore the tension between structure and fragility, between what is on the surface and what remains hidden behind.
