Interference is a composition of hanging photographs that are fused and melted into glass. Each glass piece is melted in the shape of common laptop and phone screen dimensions. These six “screens” are marked with layers of images, mysterious ghost marks and impressions, as well as broken and cracked glass. This explosive visual language takes the screen space - one of images, information, connection and disconnection - and rebuilds the immaterial interactions with the materiality of glass and images. With a subtle nod to the idea of “fishing”, and notions of privacy in online space, fish lures and household curtain rings are playfully included in this installation.
