This series on wood explores visibility and blurryness, both as a weather event and an existential experience; an inability to see into the future or past, both claustrophobia and introspection.

The paintings have multiple layers of flat colours from CMYK screen space (such as chroma key green). Once they have enough layers, they are sanded to reveal the layers underneath. In some, the wood underneath is left revealed, in others, the dusty fragments of sanded paint stay on the surface, like a haze or fog. Forms from architectures appear as fragments within the compositions.
